The Challenge

1st Executive is a growing Recruitment and HR Consulting company located in the Melbourne CBD. 1st Executive’s growth has come from referrals won on the back of quality, service and values. Rapid expansion over the last two years meant that their existing systems for managing recruitment and consulting sales would not scale with the organisation’s growth.

“We realised that we needed to put in place a solution that would allow us to manage our client relationships more efficiently, while allowing us to scale the processes that deliver quality when we have 50 employees rather than five or 6” said Director, Andrew Thoseby.

In addition 1st Executive’s founder and Managing Director, Suzanne Whitmarsh had created a different recruitment process from the industry norm and the company needed software that could accommodate its unique processes. “As the principals of the business travel extensively it was also important for us to be able to see the status of different deals, projects and placements wherever we were” she said.

The Solution

1st Executive chose Salesnet and Silver Stream Solutions to provide them with the system to manage and grow business. Firstly, Silver Stream Solutions worked with 1st Executive management to define three key processes central to the business, namely, the recruitment process, the sales process for Human Resource consulting and the relationship management process.

These processes were replicated in Salesnet using the unique “Process Builder” and the software was further configured to capture all business event data important in helping to deliver 1st Executive’s service levels and manage revenue flows.

Salesnet was rolled-out to all employees with a half-day of user training, upon completion of which 1st Executive were up and running with a world-class system.

The Results

  • Duration from engagement to full rollout: Two weeks.
  • Within 8 weeks of deployment 1st Executive was managing double the number of recruitment jobs with no additional staff.
  • Four consulting jobs in the pipeline were brought to conclusion.
  • The pre-existing relationship management model now sees all client contacts being completed 100% on schedule
